An assistant professor at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, University of British Columbia, I teach in Women's and Gender Studies and Political Science. For the past seven years, most of my work has been in northern Uganda.
My areas of interest are gender, youth and armed conflict; civilian protection and humanitarianism; and, transitional justice and social reconstruction.
